Hanoi will have fireworks displays at two locations to celebrate April 30th.

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize fireworks displays as part of the political and artistic program "North-South Promise" and the live television broadcast program "The Triumphal Song Resounds Forever".

The "North-South Promise" art and political program will feature one fireworks display, combining high-altitude fireworks with low-altitude fireworks and pyrotechnics, at the F1 race track area (Phu Do ward, Nam Tu Liem district). The event is scheduled to take place from 9:45 PM to 10:00 PM on April 22nd.

The live televised program "The Triumphal Song Resounds Forever," commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification, will feature one high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display at the multi-purpose stage area of Reunification Park (Le Dai Hanh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District). The event is scheduled from 9:45 PM to 10:00 PM on April 27th.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Hanoi Capital Command to take the lead and coordinate with relevant departments and agencies of the city, Nam Tu Liem district and Hai Ba Trung district to carry out the fireworks display; develop and implement the plan for transporting and organizing the fireworks display; coordinate with the City Police to closely supervise patrol and guard duties, maintain security and social order, prevent fires and explosions, and ensure absolute safety before, during and after the fireworks display.

The City Police developed plans and strategies to ensure security, social order, and traffic safety; in particular, they guided and directed traffic flow in the fireworks display area; and facilitated the access of vehicles carrying fireworks and technical equipment to the site.

The People's Committees of Nam Tu Liem and Hai Ba Trung districts are responsible for ensuring the availability of space for the assembly of forces and technical equipment for the construction of the fireworks display area; ensuring environmental hygiene and lighting in the firing area; directing military forces to organize the fireworks display according to plan and ensuring safety; directing police forces to coordinate with relevant agencies to maintain political security and social order, and to effectively carry out fire prevention and control work before, during, and after the display; and directing and organizing forces, equipment, supplies, and medical personnel to ensure timely emergency response in case of any incidents at the fireworks display site.
