Hanoi: City leaders celebrate with people of Vinh Tuy ward, Hai Ba Trung district

In the exciting atmosphere celebrating the 94th anniversary of Traditional Day National Front (Vietnam Fatherland Front) (November 18, 1930-November 18, 2024), tonight, 11/11, at building T9 Times City Urban Area, the Front Work Committee (CTMT) and the People's Committee of the residential area (DBDC) No. 17, Vinh Tuy Ward (Hai Ba Trung District) enthusiastically organized the National Great Unity Day of the year 2024.

Attending the program were Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, Deputy Head of the Delegation Congress TP Ha Noi Nguyen Ngoc Tuan; Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Thi Kim Dung; Secretary of Hai Ba Trung District Party Committee Nguyen Van Nam.

Also attending were representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the city; leaders of Hai Ba Trung District; leaders of Vinh Tuy Ward; Heads of CTMT of 22 DBDCs in the ward and more than 150 People's representatives, cadres and households living in DBDC No. 17.

Here, after the propaganda speech about the 94-year tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented by the representative of the Party Cell No. 17, the leaders of Hanoi City, Hai Ba Trung District, and Vinh Tuy Ward presented fresh flower baskets and gifts to congratulate the Party Committee and the People of the Party Cell No. 17. In particular, the City leaders presented 10 million VND to the Party Cell, and the leaders of Hai Ba Trung District presented 10 million VND to disadvantaged households in Vinh Tuy Ward.

Providing information on the situation of the great national unity bloc and the results of implementing patriotic emulation movements and campaigns in the DBDC in 2024, Head of the DBDC CTMT Committee No. 17 Le Xuan Hung said that the area has 11 residential groups (TDP) corresponding to 11 common buildings in the Times City Urban Area, with 5.365 apartments, 13.949 people living there, many different components, with a fairly high level of education. The area has no poor or near-poor households; the income of the residents is mostly quite good. The CTMT Committee also always receives the direction and guidance of the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Tuy ward, the attention and leadership of the DBDC Party Committee and the close coordination of the TDPs in the area, along with the enthusiastic response of the residents.

In particular, from 2022 to present, Hai Ba Trung District and Vinh Tuy Ward have implemented the Project to build Times City Apartment Complex into a "Smart Urban Area", which is a favorable condition for people to be supported, connected, apply IT, use modern equipment to serve their material and spiritual life, contributing to building a cultural, civilized, safe and livable urban area. The great national solidarity bloc is increasingly consolidated and developed strongly.

Notably, the CTMT Board always proactively grasps the situation of residents in the residential areas; promptly visits, gives gifts, and provides material and spiritual support to households in difficult circumstances, the elderly, the sick; organizes visits and encourages families with funerals; helps organize funerals when families request and organizes thoughtful condolences and farewells.

When the recent storm No. 3 and its circulation directly affected Hanoi, there was a risk of deep flooding in the Red River's outer banks, the locality prepared all community activity houses of the buildings with full essential conditions ready to receive the evacuated people. Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Tuy Ward, the DBDC donated and supported the flood victims with a total amount of 52 million VND.

This year, 100% of households in the area have registered to achieve the title of Cultural Family; through evaluation, 95% of households have achieved the title of Cultural Family, Learning Family and 11/11 TDP has achieved the title of Cultural TDP; 11 typical cultural families have been selected to propose the Ward People's Committee to award Certificates of Merit, 110 families have been proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to commend.

The locality has actively encouraged households to practice a civilized lifestyle regarding weddings and funerals in 2024, with 100% of cases of families with deceased members being cremated; families practice civilized and economical weddings. The locality also has a very rich spiritual and cultural life, cultural and physical education movements. nutrition very enthusiastic. The CTMT Board always actively mobilizes people to contribute to funds such as "For the poor", "Repaying gratitude", "Encouraging learning", "Prevention of natural disasters", "Vietnam's seas and islands" of the ward; has paid to the ward 127 million VND.

At the program, leaders of the city, district and ward listened to the opinions of some households in DBDC No. 17 contributing to building the great national unity bloc and implementing patriotic emulation campaigns and movements in the area.

On behalf of the city leaders attending the celebration with the 17th People's Council, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan informed about some outstanding results in implementing political tasks, socio-economic development, ensuring national security and defense of Hanoi and affirmed that in those common results, there are very important contributions of the residential groups and People's Councils of Vinh Tuy Ward and Hai Ba Trung District.

The Chairman of the City People's Council said that he was very impressed with the results that Vinh Tuy Ward and DBDC No. 17 had achieved in the past time, especially the political security situation, social order and safety were maintained; cadres and people promoted the spirit of solidarity, carried out well the campaigns and emulation movements of the district and the city, especially always paying attention to preserving culture, civilized and elegant lifestyle. Propaganda work to mobilize people to participate in building civilized urban areas and protecting the environment was carried out regularly, contributing to the beautification and development of the urban areas to be brighter, greener, cleaner and more beautiful.

Praising the achievements of the cadres and people of the 17th District People's Committee as well as Vinh Tuy Ward in the past time and congratulating the outstanding collectives and individuals who were commended and rewarded today, the Chairman of the City People's Council suggested that in the coming time, the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Hai Ba Trung District, Vinh Tuy Ward and the People focus on implementing economic development solutions, continuing to improve people's lives; effectively implementing the work of urban management, beautification, development, environmental protection, building a modern civilized urban area; effectively implementing the 2 Codes of Conduct of the City, practically contributing to building elegant and civilized Hanoians.

At the same time, it is recommended that districts, wards, and People's Committees continue to proactively coordinate to create favorable conditions for the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to operate effectively; mobilize people to actively participate in building a clean, strong, practical, and effective grassroots political system; pay attention to thoroughly resolving pressing local issues. At the same time, promptly support disadvantaged families and support each other in life; deploy solutions to build increasingly united, safe, civilized, and modern residential areas.

At the Festival, Hanoi City leaders respectfully presented gifts to 10 typical cultural households of Vinh Tuy ward and 10 typical cultural households of DBDC No. 17.

In addition, representatives of the Party Cell and the 17th Provincial People's Committee commended 11 residential groups in 2024 for their contributions to the local emulation movement; Hai Ba Trung District leaders presented gifts to 10 disadvantaged households in Vinh Tuy Ward; Vinh Tuy Ward leaders presented gifts to 7 disadvantaged students of the ward who excelled in their studies.

Mr. Le Xuan Hung, on behalf of the 17 Board of Directors, launched a campaign for the People to respond to the emulation movement and contribute to completing the goals and tasks of the DBDC and the ward in the year 2025. In which, it was affirmed that the People and DBDC officers will fully implement the conventions on civilized urban lifestyle, build civilized, safe, clean and beautiful apartment buildings, residential areas, and DBDC; strive for the year 2025 to have 11/11 residential areas achieving the title of Cultural Residential Area, 90% or more households achieving the title of Cultural Family...
