The conference also announced the Decisions appointing the Commander, Political Commissar, Deputy Political Commissar, and Deputy Commander of the Military Command of the companies under the Military Command of the districts of Hai An, An Duong, and Thuy Nguyen.

According to Le Trung Kien, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, the leaders of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board and the City Military Command always prioritize advising the local Party committee and government not only on implementing measures to support and facilitate businesses in production and business development, but also on promoting and encouraging businesses to establish self-defense forces to serve the interests of the businesses themselves and the local area.

In addition, the Economic Zone Management Board, together with the military, will create favorable conditions and mechanisms to promote the building of self-defense forces, organize training, and form a team with professional skills to lead in protecting security and safety, serving the interests of businesses, creating a favorable environment, conditions, and prerequisites to promote business development.

Establishing a self-defense unit within a business aims to protect security and safety, serving the business's best interests, and enabling it to respond promptly to unexpected situations such as fires, floods, natural disasters, and epidemics. This not only avoids impacting production and business operations but also creates a favorable environment and foundation for business development.

In addition, there is a policy to support the budget and funding for the construction and maintenance of self-defense forces by directly deducting it from the taxes payable by each enterprise; directing enterprises to flexibly utilize personnel in the security and office sectors, and not to take workers from production lines so as not to affect the targets and productivity of the enterprises.

In the coming period, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board will continue to coordinate with the City Military Command to establish more self-defense units at FDI enterprises in the Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Industrial Park and Economic Zone.
