DNO - During the National Day holiday on September 2nd, the number of locals and tourists visiting and shopping at traditional markets in the city increased compared to normal days. Prices of goods remained stable and were clearly displayed.

The number of tourists at Han Market increased sharply on August 30th and 31st.

As observed on the morning of September 1st, tourists visited Con Market for sightseeing and shopping. During the September 2nd holiday, it is expected that approximately 3,000-4,000 visitors will come to the market each day for sightseeing and shopping.

Mr. Pham Van Binh, Deputy Head of the Con Market Management Board, said that the majority of visitors to the market are domestic tourists, with relatively few visitors to Da Nang during the first two days. However, as in previous years, the number of visitors will increase sharply during the last two days of the holiday.

Before the end of their trip, tourists often visit the market to buy food and dried goods as gifts for their relatives. On holidays, vendors prepare sufficient quantities of goods to meet customer demand. Prices of goods are generally stable.

According to many vendors, purchasing power at the market increased slightly during the first two days of the holiday and is predicted to surge during the last two days.
