On the morning of March 30th, the weather in the Hung Temple area ( Phu Tho province ) was characterized by light rain, drizzle, and cold temperatures, but a large number of locals and tourists from all over the country made a pilgrimage to the ancestral land to offer incense and commemorate the Hung Kings, even though the Hung Kings' death anniversary was still more than a week away.
From around 8 a.m., the number of people and tourists making pilgrimages to Hung Temple gradually increased.
The main parking lot next to the gate of the Hung Temple Historical Site was also packed with cars.
Due to the large crowds, authorities set up soft barriers in the courtyard of the Public House to regulate people's access to the temples.
At the same time, loudspeakers were used to inform the public about ensuring security and safety while offering incense.

According to statistics from the Hung Kings Commemoration Day organizing committee, nearly 20,000 visitors came to Hung Temple on March 30th to participate in the commemorative activities.
According to the Phu Tho Provincial Police, although the number of people and vehicles was high, the traffic control, guidance, and parking arrangements were carefully and flexibly planned by the Provincial Police, ensuring traffic safety and creating favorable conditions for residents and tourists.

According to the Phu Tho Provincial Police, to ensure absolute security and order during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day and the Hung Kings' Cultural and Tourism Week in 2025, the Provincial Police have developed a plan and mobilized 1,000 officers and soldiers to protect the safety of the events and visitors to Hung Temple.
From the morning of March 29th, the Phu Tho Provincial Police simultaneously deployed forces at nearly 200 checkpoints in various areas and routes within the Hung Temple historical site and in the cities of Viet Tri, Phu Ninh, and Lam Thao.

For the Hung Kings Commemoration Day in 2025, officials, civil servants, and employees will have a three-day holiday because the 10th day of the third lunar month falls on a Monday (April 7th in the Gregorian calendar), and the two following Saturday and Sunday are naturally days off.
