According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoi An Ward, the locality currently has nearly 750 businesses with more than 6,500 workers and about 5,000 individual business households, creating jobs for more than 14,000 workers. The private sector plays a leading role in the local economic structure, with an average growth rate of about 10-11% per year. “Hoi An has identified its growth drivers as primarily based on trade, services, tourism, household economies, private businesses, cultural activities associated with heritage, along with effective land management, public assets, state budget, and urban infrastructure. With a recovering economy and comprehensive development solutions, the locality has the basis to strive for double-digit economic growth in the 2026-2030 period,” Mr. Binh shared.
In 2026, Hoi An is determined to achieve a growth target of 11%. Among the key tasks and solutions, the locality will continue to focus on improving the investment and business environment, removing difficulties for businesses, developing the private sector, and supporting startups and innovation.
According to Mr. Binh, administrative procedures are being gradually simplified, with the business registration licensing time now reduced to 3 days. Furthermore, the city is paying attention to resolving obstacles related to certain business conditions for accommodation, tourism, and services, creating opportunities for the tourism business community in Hoi An to develop while preserving the world cultural heritage.
The plan to achieve double-digit growth in Tien Phuoc commune emphasizes the requirement to follow the "6 clear principles," specifically quantifying indicators and striving to achieve an average annual growth rate of over 11% in total product value in the area; and an annual increase of 10% in state budget revenue in the area.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tien Phuoc commune, the locality is promoting the development of industry, handicrafts, construction, trade, and services. In attracting investment, priority is given to developing the processing industry for agricultural and forestry products, and construction materials, linked to the local advantages.

Assessing the implementation of the double-digit growth target in the area, the People's Committee of An Hai Ward acknowledges that many results have been achieved, contributing to improving the investment environment, promoting trade and services, enhancing urban management efficiency, protecting the environment, and ensuring social welfare. The results achieved provide a foundation for the ward to strive for a growth target of 11-13% in the 2026-2030 period.
In the economic sector, Mr. Hoang Cong Thanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Hai Ward, said that the locality has focused on effectively handling administrative procedures related to business registration and construction permits. The ward has created a Zalo group to regularly exchange and share government policies and guidelines, and to listen to and promptly coordinate in resolving difficulties and obstacles faced by businesses related to the investment and business environment in the ward. Many festivals and events are organized in the area to attract residents and tourists to visit, shop, stimulate consumption, and promote economic development.
As early as the end of 2025, the City People's Council issued Resolution No. 43/NQ-HĐND dated December 11, 2025, on the plan for economic and social development and ensuring national defense and security in 2026, setting a target for Da Nang city to achieve an economic growth rate of 11% or higher in 2026. This is a high target, and achieving this growth goal in 2026 will be a prerequisite for the city to make breakthroughs in development in the following years of the 2026-2030 period.
With the spirit of "6 clear actions," the City People's Committee assigned the targets for socio-economic development, national defense and security, state budget estimates, and public investment plans for 2026 to each department, agency, and commune-level People's Committee.
The tasks and solutions implemented focus on strengthening the management of industries and sectors to ensure economic growth in the three economic sectors, adhering to the established scenarios. Da Nang will strengthen investment attraction, remove difficulties and obstacles for non-budgetary investment projects in the area; organize the review, evaluation, and verification of public investment data, the disbursement of public investment capital, and the efficiency of the use of completed public investment projects in localities. The city will coordinate with central ministries and agencies to implement Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 dated June 26, 2024, of the National Assembly on piloting some specific mechanisms and policies for the development of the city.
