Happy!

March is often called the month of happiness. This is not only because March 20th has been designated by the United Nations as International Happiness Day, but also because March is annually associated with "Youth Month" - a month for young people to contribute.

Happy!

Writing about youth, in the song "A Lifetime, a Forest of Trees," composer Tran Long An used very meaningful lyrics: "Truth belongs to everyone / Refusing to live a petty life / I sing about my friends / Those who live for everyone / Guarding the land and sky day and night / Radiant like a forest of apricot blossoms in the spring afternoon"...

Taking on challenging tasks, many young people from Thanh Hoa province have volunteered to go to particularly difficult areas, undertaking jobs that many would refuse. This includes not only the "Green Summer" volunteer campaigns, which have become a trademark of youth volunteerism over the years, but also the annual March campaign. March – Youth Month – each year features a meaningful theme, serving as a call to arms, a "command to go to war," prompting many young people to "rush" into hotspots, "roll up their sleeves," and tackle difficult tasks, contributing to the community.

This year's Youth Month, chosen by the Central Youth Union, has the theme "Strongly Innovating the Working Methods of the Youth Union." Following this motto of "strong innovation," and continuing to promote the pioneering, volunteer, and creative roles of young people, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union has organized a series of activities with many practical contents, such as providing loans to young entrepreneurs; donating social welfare gifts to families of former youth volunteers, policy beneficiaries, and students in difficult circumstances; donating youth-planted trees along roads, lighting projects, and projects to digitize historical relics; supporting the construction of mural-painted roads, traffic safety, and food safety initiatives... Most notably, the "March at the Border" program in 2026, themed "I Love My Homeland," includes many meaningful activities organized by the Provincial Youth Union aimed at supporting the improvement of living standards and education for people in the disadvantaged border regions.

Every year, March becomes a vibrant and enthusiastic month, where the creativity of young people is unleashed. Youth Month is increasingly becoming a practical and lively environment for each youth union member to express their patriotism, train themselves, and grow. Youth is often described as the most beautiful period of life, and March is perhaps the happiest month for young people. The path to happiness may seem distant, but it is actually very close and simple if we know how to cherish it and make the right choices. The dedication and contributions of many young people demonstrate a very simple approach to happiness: happiness lies in using one's strength to bring happiness to the majority.
