The fourth night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival – DIFF 2024, on the evening of June 29th, will be a dramatic showdown between newcomer China and Finland – the former champion of DIFF 2019. This "battle" is attracting great attention from domestic and international tourists.

With an investment of hundreds of billions of VND, the fourth night of DIFF 2024, themed "Made of Fairy Tales , " taking place on the evening of June 29th, is predicted to attract tens of thousands of domestic and international tourists to the coastal city of Da Nang.

The fourth night of the competition was considered the most dramatic in this year's DIFF season, featuring China – a renowned fireworks empire with equipment used by many professional fireworks display companies worldwide – and the reigning DIFF 2019 champion, Finland.

Currently, the competing teams are rushing to complete the final preparations for the competition night on June 29th.

At this year's DIFF, the Finnish team presents "A Million Dreams," a fantastical story about challenges and aspirations. The team promises to combine colorful fireworks with water effects, creating a magical atmosphere in the skies above Da Nang.

Johan Hollander, captain of the Finnish team, affirmed that this would be "the most spectacular performance the team has ever done in Asia." The fireworks display will feature a harmonious blend of light and music , effects and emotion.

With decades of accumulated experience and talent, the Chinese team promises to deliver a spectacular performance, blending traditional fireworks artistry with modern creativity.

The performance "Summer Song – Fireworks Painted with Embroidery," built upon music and light, recreates the beautiful landscapes and distinctive cultural features of China, promising to captivate the audience.

One of the strengths of the Chinese team is their high-altitude fireworks, so visitors to the "Fairytale World" night can expect truly spectacular displays. "We have designed a fantastic show and used high-quality fireworks effects to make the performance on June 26th special and highlight the charm of fireworks," said a representative of the Chinese team.

Composer Nguyen Duc Trinh, President of the Vietnam Musicians Association and a member of the DIFF 2024 judging panel, shared: “I have high expectations for the upcoming competition night. Firstly, the theme is excellent. Secondly, both participating teams are very strong. Especially the Chinese team, with their incredibly long-standing fireworks tradition. It's truly impossible to know what surprises they will bring in their fireworks display. Hopefully, the fourth night will be a spectacular night of the Fairytale World.”
