Hezbollah claimed responsibility for launching a barrage of rockets and drones at nine Israeli military sites, following the death of its senior commander, Taleb Abdallah, in an Israeli attack.
Hezbollah said the attack was "part of a response to the assassination" of their commander, Taleb Abdallah. The senior commander was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the southern Lebanese village of Jouya on June 11. One of Hezbollah's targets was an Israeli base believed to house intelligence "responsible for the assassinations."
