After several years of football drought, Quang Ninh province will officially have a new football team called Quang Ninh Football Club (Quang Ninh FC), established by Quang Ninh Football Development Joint Stock Company.

Quang Ninh FC will participate in the third division league starting this year. This is very good news for football fans in the mining region, as Quang Ninh is a locality with a strong football tradition and a passionate fan base with a very unique identity in Vietnam.

Quang Ninh FC will use a logo featuring a distinctive blue color, a dragon, and sails billowing in the wind, symbolizing the land where dragons reside (Ha Long). The logo also represents the remarkable development of Quang Ninh province in the present and future.

Regarding the coaching staff, Quang Ninh Club will announce the club's coaching staff and technical director on August 2nd.

The club is expected to officially appoint Technical Director Tran Minh Chien (former head coach of Vietnam U.17), Head Coach Nguyen Van Dan (formerly coach of LPBank HGAGL Club), and Goalkeeper Coach Vo Van Hanh (former Vietnamese Golden Ball winner, assistant coach of the Vietnamese national team).

It's clear that this coaching staff consists of familiar names to fans, with a wealth of experience and achievements gained over many years working in professional football.

In terms of personnel, Quang Ninh Football Club is built around a core of players who are natives of Quang Ninh and have previously played in the V-League and First Division, led by midfielder Dao Nhat Minh (born in 1992), a prodigy who rose through the ranks of youth football and has played in the V-League for Quang Ninh for many years.

The leaders of Quang Ninh Club hope that the team will be built with a distinct identity, rich in local character, and that the Quang Ninh players will demonstrate a strong desire to dedicate themselves fully to their hometown team.

In the past, Quang Ninh had a professional football team, and football became a source of spiritual nourishment and joy for the people of Quang Ninh.

The Quang Ninh Football Supporters' Club once won the title of Best Supporters' Club in V-League 2015. However, the team from the mining region has failed to maintain and develop as expected by Quang Ninh fans.
