After several years of living in a "starvation" situation for football, Quang Ninh province will officially have a new football team named Quang Ninh Football Club (Quang Ninh Club), established by Quang Ninh Football Development Joint Stock Company.

Quang Ninh Club will compete from the third division season this year. This is very good news for football fans in the mining land, because Quang Ninh is a locality with a football tradition and a passionate fan base, with a very unique identity in Vietnam.

Quang Ninh Club will use a logo with a distinctive blue design, a dragon and a sail full of wind, representing the land of dragons (Ha Long). The logo also symbolizes the remarkable development of Quang Ninh province in the present and future.

Regarding the coaching staff, Quang Ninh Club will announce the club's coaching staff and technical director on August 2.

It is expected that the club will officially appoint Technical Director Tran Minh Chien (former head coach of Vietnam U.17), head coach Nguyen Van Dan (who used to lead LPBank HGAGL Club) and goalkeeper coach Vo Van Hanh (former Vietnam Golden Ball, assistant of the Vietnam national team).

It can be seen that this coaching team are all familiar names to fans, with many years of experience working in the professional football environment.

Regarding the force, Quang Ninh Football Club was built with a core of many players who are Quang Ninh's children who have played in V-League and First Division, led by midfielder Dao Nhat Minh (born in 1992), who grew up from youth football and played many years in V-League for Quang Ninh football.

Quang Ninh Club leaders hope that the team will be built with identity and rich local character, and that Quang Ninh players show their desire to devote themselves to their hometown team.

In the past, Quang Ninh had a professional football team and football became spiritual food and joy for the people of Quang Ninh.
