Leveraging the energy of young people in preserving and promoting the value of cultural and historical heritage, the Hoa Thanh Town Youth Union organized the "Cultural and Historical Journey" program last year, exploring local landmarks and traditional crafts. This model was highly praised and recognized as a new solution for the Town Youth Union in its youth work.

After four stages and twelve destinations, the youth union members participating in the "Cultural and Historical Journey" experienced many interesting activities. They learned about the processes of making local products such as traditional chili salt, sweet potato flour, and incense sticks; explored local culture and history through famous landmarks such as the Cao Dai Holy See and the Long Thanh Temple National Historical Monument; and gained a deeper understanding of the unique features of the Chhay-dăm drum dance.

At each destination, the young people received valuable knowledge and information from experienced and knowledgeable individuals. Witnessing each step in the production of traditional products and trying their hand at making them filled them with excitement and enjoyment.

Recently, the Long Thanh Bac Ward Youth Union launched a team to promote and introduce key historical sites and cultural works in the area. This is also an effective way to spread the image of the homeland on social media. Accordingly, the team will periodically select locations, organize guided tours, and create videos to post on social media to share information with everyone.

Besides their existing potential, for historical sites to truly attract tourists, there needs to be greater dissemination of valuable information and insights to the community. Furthermore, to effectively utilize cultural and historical heritage as a tourism resource, coordination among various entities is necessary, especially by combining destinations into a comprehensive heritage tour program. This approach aims to promote tourism harmoniously while simultaneously preserving and conserving the heritage.
