Farmers in the Đồng Tháp Mười region of the province are currently harvesting the 2025-2026 Winter-Spring rice crop.
In the recently harvested fields, it's easy to spot rice collection points waiting for traders to come and buy it. To date, farmers in the province have harvested nearly 58,000 hectares of rice in the 2025-2026 Winter-Spring crop, with a dry rice yield of 6.64 tons/ha and an estimated production of nearly 285,000 tons.
