Construction of Provincial Road 342 has been completed.

After more than a year of construction, the provincial road 342 project connecting Ha Long City with Ba Che District and Lang Son Province has now been completed. The project met the schedule, quality standards, and requirements for convenient connectivity between areas, becoming a new driving force for the mountainous region of the province.

The Provincial Road 342 project, connecting Ha Long City with Ba Che District and Lang Son Province, is 20.9km long. It starts at Ky Thuong Commune (Ha Long City) and ends at Bac Lang Commune, Dinh Lap District (Lang Son Province), passing through Ba Che District. The project has a total investment of over 800 billion VND from the provincial budget.

The design includes four bridges: Thac Da, Thac Cha, Khe Lu, and Khe Lao. Currently, all bridge constructions have been completed, meeting technical and quality standards for commissioning and use.

The embankment slopes along the route have been treated and reinforced to ensure safety.

The guardrail system and traffic safety infrastructure have been completed synchronously along the entire route.

The route boasts stunning natural scenery, running through lush green forests and residential areas and villages of the highlanders in Ba Chẽ.

The project is expected to have a sign welcoming the Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the end of July 2024, creating interconnectedness and a comprehensive framework, gradually narrowing the gap between regions, and aiming for the goal of evenly distributing resources to all areas…
