Traveling Exhibition Activities 2017

 

In 2017, the Ho Chi Minh City Museum effectively brought the museum closer to the public through traveling exhibitions aimed at promoting and educating about the preservation of the historical, cultural, and architectural values ​​of Ho Chi Minh City; at the same time, contributing to raising awareness of Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos among students and citizens of the city with the following themes:

– The student movement in Saigon – Ho Chi Minh City.

– Ho Chi Minh City – Historical Journeys.

– National-level architectural and artistic heritage sites in Ho Chi Minh City.

– Hoang Sa and Truong Sa – Vietnam's islands and seas.

– Vietnam's Paracel and Spratly Islands – Historical Evidence.

The Ho Chi Minh City Museum has coordinated 32 traveling exhibitions, serving over 180,000 visitors at primary and secondary schools, the 7th Military Region Headquarters, People's Committees, Cultural Centers, and District Youth Unions in the districts of District 1, District 2, District 3, District 5, District 8, Can Gio District, and Cu Chi District. These traveling exhibitions have effectively reached a wide audience in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to the diversification of the Museum's activities and bringing it closer to the public.
