In 2017, Ho Chi Minh City Museum effectively carried out the work of bringing the Museum to the public through mobile exhibitions to promote and educate the preservation of historical, cultural and architectural values of Ho Chi Minh City; At the same time, contributing to promoting Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos to students and residents of the City with the following topics:
– Student movement in Saigon – Ho Chi Minh City.
– Ho Chi Minh City – Historical milestones.
– National architectural and artistic relic in Ho Chi Minh City.
– Hoang Sa and Truong Sa – Vietnam's sea and islands.
– Hoang Sa and Truong Sa of Vietnam – Historical evidence.
Ho Chi Minh City Museum has coordinated to organize 32 mobile exhibitions serving more than 180,000 visitors at primary schools, secondary schools, Military Region 7 General Staff, People's Committees, Cultural Centers, District Youth Unions in the following districts: District 1, District 2, District 3, District 5, District 8, Can Gio District, Cu Chi District. The mobile exhibitions have really spread to a large number of people in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to diversifying the Museum's activities and bringing the Museum closer to the public.
