"Exhausted but very fun and interesting" was the general sentiment of most students at Dong Da Primary School, Tan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, after experiencing a learning trip to Nha Rong Wharf and the Independence Palace. This history lesson took place on November 14th, with nearly 1,000 students from grades 2 to 5 participating.
"This was my first time visiting Nha Rong Wharf, and I took very detailed notes to write a report about it at school. Although I had consulted information on the internet before the trip, listening to the explanation about President Ho Chi Minh's journey to find a way to save the country truly moved me," said Phuong Hoa, a 5th-grade student at Dong Da Primary School.

Meanwhile, Thien Phuc, a 4th-grade student at Dong Da Primary School, commented: "Before going on the experiential learning trip, I was only interested in the milestone of June 5, 1911."
But after leaving Nha Rong Wharf, I learned many meaningful things about President Ho Chi Minh's life. It wasn't just about patriotism, but also about the spirit of self-learning and determination.
Similarly, at the Independence Palace, students from Dong Da Primary School were very excited to learn and record the necessary details in their notebooks.
Moreover, the children were confident and friendly, proactively waving and communicating in English with foreign visitors when they came to tour the area.
