The Provincial Veterans Association held a training session on association work for 2025.

On the morning of August 22nd, at the 22nd Naval Rehabilitation Center (Bai Chay Ward), the Quang Ninh Provincial Veterans Association held a training conference on association work for 2025 for the Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons of the Veterans Associations of 54 communes, wards, and special zones in the province, as well as the Veterans Association of Block 487. Colonel Dam Huy Dac, Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association, presided over the conference.

The training conference program includes the following thematic contents: Building a strong and comprehensive Veterans Association; emulation and reward work; and political and ideological education work of the Veterans Association.

The conference also focused on implementing Plan No. 29/KH-CCB and Guidance No. 30/HD-CCB dated August 8, 2025, of the Provincial Veterans Association on organizing the Congress of Delegates of the Veterans Association at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. This included closely adhering to the guiding documents of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, Directive No. 45-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on leading the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels, and the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Ninh province for the 2025-2030 term. The 8th Congress of Delegates of the Provincial Veterans Association, for the 2025-2030 term, is expected to take place in November 2025.

At the training conference, several issues and obstacles at the grassroots level were directly addressed; thereby aiming to improve the capacity and effectiveness of the veteran cadres throughout the province in the coming period, especially in completing the tasks for the last five months of 2025.
