This is an important forum for countries and businesses to promote destinations, expand connections, and foster international cooperation in the tourism sector. Approximately 30 Vietnamese tourism businesses participated in the event, including 14 businesses participating in the Vietnam Pavilion, co-organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association in Europe (VNCT) and the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France.
The highlight of the booth was a series of activities promoting the destination, linked to unique cultural and culinary experiences, attracting the attention of a large number of industry professionals and international tourists. On the opening day, January 21st, the “HOLA VIETNAM!” event, along with a cocktail party showcasing Vietnamese cuisine, attracted a large number of guests, travel partners, and international tourism promotion agencies.

In addition, business-to-business (B2B) networking activities, cultural and artistic performances, and bilateral meetings between Vietnam and Spain were organized throughout the fair, contributing to creating a space for direct and effective exchange.
At this fair, the Spanish Trade Office accompanied the Vietnamese delegation in many activities. These included co-organizing, with the Spanish Ministry of Economy , Trade and Business, a bilateral meeting and introduction between Vietnamese businesses and relevant Spanish partners to promote two-way tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Spain. The discussions focused on technology applications in the tourism industry.

In 2025, the total number of Spanish tourists visiting Vietnam is expected to reach approximately 100,000, an increase of over 20.0% compared to the same period in 2024. The unique experiences of Vietnamese culture, cuisine, and nature are increasingly attracting Spanish tourists. This impressive growth demonstrates the enormous potential of the Spanish market. The series of activities at FITUR 2026 is expected to contribute to enhancing Vietnam's image as a destination in Europe, while also laying the foundation for more concrete cooperation programs in the future.
