On the morning of December 31st, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Ca Mau province held a conference to summarize the association's work in 2025 and plan tasks for 2026. Mr. Bui Minh Hai, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, attended the conference.

Following the provincial merger, the organizational system of the Association from the provincial to the grassroots level has been strengthened; the review, consolidation of personnel, and management of the Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Fund have been carried out in accordance with regulations. The province currently has 20,037 members of the Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Association.

During the year, through direct fundraising, the various levels of the association supported the construction and repair of 33 houses; distributed over 10,000 gifts; organized medical examinations and treatment for 2,800 victims; and provided living necessities, food, and educational support to many disadvantaged families.

In 2025, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Ca Mau province was awarded the Flag of Excellence for leading the movement and outstandingly fulfilling its tasks by the Central Association. In addition, the Central Association awarded commemorative medals to 12 individuals; certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 11 individuals; and plaques of appreciation for "Golden Hearts" to 4 individuals.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit, and the Provincial Association awarded certificates of commendation to many collectives and individuals who excellently fulfilled their association work tasks in 2025.

Ms. Vo Thi Hong Thoai, Chairwoman of the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, requested that all levels of the association continue to strengthen their efforts in mobilizing and calling for the community's cooperation in helping victims of Agent Orange.

In outlining the key tasks for 2026, Ms. Vo Thi Hong Thoai, Chairwoman of the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, emphasized that all levels of the association should focus on promoting the application of digital transformation in activities and victim management; while continuing to strengthen efforts to mobilize and call for community support to help Agent Orange victims overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
