According to Ta Thi Yen, Deputy Head of the Committee on Delegate Affairs and Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the National Election Council, election work across the country is being carried out urgently, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
According to reports from all 34 provinces and cities, as of 2:15 PM on March 15th, 61,760,000 voters had cast their ballots, reaching 80.63% of the total registered voters.
In particular, many localities had high voter turnout rates, especially the 9 northern mountainous provinces such as Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Tuyen Quang… Or provinces like Ha Tinh, Da Nang , Lang Son, Nghe An, and Thai Nguyen, which achieved over 90% voter participation.
According to Ms. Yen, to date, 380 communes, wards, and polling areas have completed the voting process with a 100% voter turnout rate, especially in areas with armed forces personnel and mountainous regions.
This demonstrates the high level of concern and responsibility among voters regarding their rights and civic duties.
She stated that the election atmosphere nationwide was very urgent and vibrant, reflecting the people's right to self-governance. This demonstrates the aspirations and concerns of the people in choosing representatives to serve in state power organs.
This is a momentous political event, a great festival for the entire nation, where voters exercise their rights and civic duties in selecting and electing outstanding representatives who will represent the will, aspirations, and sovereignty of the people in the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.
According to reports from 34 provinces and cities, the voter lists have been publicly posted. Nationwide, 78,928,647 voters will participate in the election at 72,195 polling stations. Voter data will continue to be updated by local authorities until 24 hours before election day…
