Hon Dat district mobilized blood donations totaling 317 units.

(KGO) - On March 31, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Hon Dat District (Kien Giang) organized a launching ceremony to respond to the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day (April 7) with the theme "Every drop of blood given saves a life".

Officials, civil servants, public employees, armed forces personnel, union members, association members, and people of Hon Dat district participated in the second voluntary blood donation drive of 2025.

This was the second blood donation drive in 2025 in Hon Dat district, with nearly 500 officials, civil servants, armed forces personnel, union members, association members, and residents participating. A total of 317 units of blood were collected, which will be transferred to the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Department of Kien Giang Provincial General Hospital, contributing to ensuring a sufficient blood supply for emergency care and treatment of patients at the hospital.
