Hoi An shimmers in the floodwaters.On the night of November 17th and the early morning of November 18th, the water level on the Hoai River rose again. Many roads in Hoi An were flooded once more. Nevertheless, tourists continued to flock to the ancient town.

In 2024, the total number of tourists using boat services in Hoi An exceeded 145,800 trips, averaging 498 trips per boat per year. The cooperative's total revenue exceeded 68.8 billion VND, an increase of over 12.7% compared to 2023; the average monthly salary for each worker in the cooperative reached over 17.3 million VND.

Mr. Le Van Khuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of the Cooperative, stated that the movements and activities have made significant progress, especially since the establishment of the Cooperative (based on the former Hoai River Tourist Boat Union); operations are becoming more organized, members' lives are stable; the awareness of building the Cooperative has been promoted, and the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance is particularly evident.
