The artwork captures the most magnificent moment of sunrise on Dong Chau beach (Tien Hai, Thai Binh). The brilliant sun rises on the horizon, casting a golden glow over the dugout clam watchtowers – a symbol of the characteristic labor of the people of this coastal region. The reflection of the sunrise on the receding tide creates a magnificent space, celebrating the abundant beauty of coastal nature and the resilient spirit of the Vietnamese people in their journey to master the sea and build a prosperous and happy life.

The " Happy Vietnam 2026 " award is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Vietnam Television.
The 2026 awards will continue to be held nationwide with two categories: photos and videos .
The submitted works will be judged in two rounds, preliminary and final, by a judging panel comprising reputable experts, journalists, photographers, and filmmakers, ensuring objectivity, transparency, and professional quality.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in the fourth quarter of 2026 in Hanoi and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
