Ea Kar district police said that, in order to ensure traffic order and safety and reduce water traffic accidents, from the beginning of 2023 to now, the unit has strengthened propaganda work, signed a commitment to abide by the provisions of the law on order and safety of inland waterway traffic for water transport vehicle owners and crew members in the district.
Accordingly, the Traffic Police - Order Team of the Ea Kar District Police Department coordinated with the interdisciplinary delegation of the District People's Committee to inspect and propagate the work of ensuring order and safety of waterway traffic at a number of units: Doan Ket Sand Mining Company Limited (Ea O commune); MJ Service and Construction Investment Company Limited (Cu Yang Commune); Song Hong International Joint Stock Company (Ea So commune).

Along with checking the conditions of watercraft, boatmen... the officers of the Traffic Police - Order also propagated the main contents of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic; vehicle registration and registration; regulations on vehicle drivers must have professional certificates, do not use alcohol when operating vehicles and do not carry more than the permissible tonnage; causes and consequences of traffic accidents related to passenger and cargo vehicles by water transport.
After being propagated, vehicle owners signed a commitment to strictly abide by the provisions of relevant laws.
