On the morning of August 16, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to evaluate the enrollment in the 8th grade of high school in the school year 10-2023 in the province.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kdoh chaired the meeting. Attending were representatives of departments, branches, localities, Center of Vocational Education - Continuing Education (Vocational Education - Vocational Education), middle schools and colleges in the province.

According to the report at the meeting, the enrollment of 10th graders in the school year 2023-2024 in the province is carried out through two methods: entrance exams throughout the province at specialized schools (Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted, N' Trang Long Ethnic Boarding High School, Dam San Ethnic Boarding High School); admission examination according to the enrollment area in the remaining public high schools.
The remaining educational institutions (high schools, high schools with many private levels of education, Central Highlands Ethnic Minority Boarding High School, Highland Practical High School, Center for Sports Training and Competition) are built. separate enrollment plan on the basis of the Provincial People's Committee's enrollment plan.
In the 2022-2023 school year, there are 29.702 students graduating from secondary school. Up to now, there have been 23.180 students enrolled in the 10th grade of high school; more than 4.040 students have been admitted to the 10th grade of the continuing education system of the vocational education and training centers of the districts, towns, cities, intermediate schools and vocational colleges in the area; 2.480 children currently do not have a school to study and the need for post-secondary education is unknown.

At the meeting, the delegates raised their opinions related to the assignment of students after graduating from secondary school: shortcomings in the enrollment of 10th graders; the lack of synchronization in data links, student information between levels; difficulties and problems when opening more classes for students wishing to continue their studies after graduating from secondary school...
Most of the comments wanted the province to have a solution to ensure schools and classes in the locality to ensure the right to study for students in need. At the same time, there is a plan to improve the quality of vocational training at vocational training institutions so that after graduation, students can practice the profession they have learned, and soon join the labor market as set out goals.

Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kdoh asked the Department of Education and Training to review the list of students who have been admitted to general education institutions, vocational training institutions combined with cultural teaching in the locality. The number of students who do not have a place to study report to the People's Committee before August 20 so that the province can promptly direct and develop a plan to arrange schools and classes for students.
