Tho Xuan District Party Committee meets with key Youth Union officials.

On the afternoon of March 25th, the Standing Committee of the Tho Xuan District Party Committee held a meeting with key Youth Union officials to commemorate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024).

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the glorious and proud 93-year history of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. In July 1941, the Tho Xuan National Salvation Youth Association, the predecessor of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tho Xuan district, was formed in Phong Coc village, Thu Coc commune, now Xuan Minh commune, Tho Xuan district.

Over the past 83 years of its formation and development, successive generations of Tho Xuan youth have consistently excelled in fulfilling their assigned tasks. Particularly, from 2022 to the present, the Youth Union at all levels throughout the district has consistently and effectively promoted political , ideological, moral, and cultural lifestyle education for young people. Revolutionary action movements and programs accompanying youth have been widely and comprehensively implemented. The entire district has undertaken 325 youth projects and 655 youth-led initiatives to build new rural areas, with the participation of nearly 100,000 Youth Union members. Activities supporting youth entrepreneurship and career development have been intensified. Volunteer activities for community life have attracted a large number of cadres and Youth Union members to participate. The work of building the Youth Union organization, expanding the united front, gathering young people, participating in Party building and protecting the government has been given attention and implemented successfully.

Secretary of the Tho Xuan District Party Committee, Le Dinh Hai, delivered a speech at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Thọ Xuân District Party Secretary Lê Đình Hải respectfully acknowledged, commended, and congratulated the efforts, dedication, contributions, and outstanding achievements that the Youth Union at all levels, as well as the cadres, members, and young people of Thọ Xuân district have achieved throughout their journey of construction, development, and growth. He also expressed confidence that the Youth Union members and young people in the district will always recognize their responsibility to continue to promote the pioneering spirit, volunteerism, and enthusiasm of youth, constantly striving to seize new opportunities, overcome all difficulties and challenges, and excellently fulfill their assigned tasks, contributing to building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized Thọ Xuân homeland.
