In the context of implementing the 2018 General Education Program, which demands high levels of specialized classrooms, laboratory equipment, and support facilities, the school staff has flexibly adapted, leveraged internal resources, and led to an increase in the number of high-achieving students each year.

A prime example is Nguyen Dang Nhu Y, a student in Class 9A, who achieved a remarkable feat by winning first prize in Mathematics in the 9th grade at the provincial and city-level student excellence competition in the 2024-2025 school year ( Ca Mau City, before the implementation of the two-tiered local government system - PV).

Student Nhu Y shared: “I really enjoy math and always try to dedicate time to self-study. Thanks to the encouragement and guidance from my teachers on how to solve difficult problems, I felt more confident entering the exam. Mr. Luong Hong Vinh, a math teacher, shared: “Students in suburban areas don't have as many opportunities for extra tutoring or access to learning materials as students in central schools, but in return, they are diligent and hardworking. Teachers must innovate their teaching methods , find suitable exercises that match each student's abilities, so that the tutoring process is both effective and engaging for the students.”
