Sources in the US say both Inter Miami and Messi's side are open to an extension, despite rumours of interest from Saudi Arabian clubs for M10.

One of the key reasons why Inter Miami wants to keep Messi is to attract attention to the tournament, especially with the 2026 World Cup approaching in North America. Although it has not been confirmed, many believe that Messi may end his international career after Argentina successfully defends the title in the United States.
