iOS 18.1 brings the first features of Apple Intelligence such as: Writing Tools, Reduce Interruptions, notification summarization, a writing tool to edit and rewrite text, a smarter Siri, cleanup in the Photos app... and is expected to be officially released in October.

Currently, the iOS 18 public beta 1 does not yet include Genmoji or ChatGPT, but these will be released soon, possibly in iOS 18.2.

Users can download the update by going to Settings - Software Update - Public Beta option.

Note: Apple Intelligence features require a compatible device. If users are using an older iPhone to install iOS 18.1 beta 1, they will not be able to access any AI capabilities.

Devices that support AI features include: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 series.
