The iPhone 5c is about to become obsolete.

Apple plans to render the iPhone 5c, the smartphone launched in September 2013 alongside the iPhone 5s, obsolete next month.

According to MacRumors , before the iPhone 5c was added to the list of obsolete products, Apple had already listed it as a vintage product in October 2020. This means the company and its service providers can only offer certain repairs for the product, depending on the availability of parts.

The iPhone 5c can be seen as the beginning of the iPhone SE that was released later.
