On September 22nd, all four iPhone 15 models will begin reaching consumers in a number of priority markets, including Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan – countries and territories closest to Vietnam. Although the excitement is not as intense as before, traders believe that new iPhone 15s will definitely arrive in Vietnam on the first day of sales through unofficial channels.
At the same time, on the shelves of many domestic retailers, the prices of used iPhones are also gradually being adjusted downwards to suit the market situation, with some models dropping by up to 1 million VND compared to August, such as the iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 12, iPhone 13 Pro Max... These models are all collected by retailers from users who want to upgrade their devices, so their origin is clear, most of them still have good appearance and high battery percentage.
Besides the lower price, this product line is still popular with users because of the warranty and after-sales service policies offered by the dealers and stores themselves, such as a 7-day free trial, 1-to-1 replacement warranty for accidental damage within 12 months, and a lifetime battery warranty...
The iPhone 13 Pro Max remains a reasonable choice for users looking for an iPhone at an optimal cost.
Even with used devices, users can still pay in installments with 0% interest or participate in a trade-in program for older devices. Some businesses say they are offering support for trade-ins with a cost ranging from 500,000 VND to 1 million VND, in addition to the valuation provided by the system and technicians.
" This is a good time to buy a used iPhone if your finances aren't abundant. Those who aren't concerned about the cost or are eager to experience the latest devices and technology can wait until September 29th, when Vietnam officially launches the iPhone 15 ," advised a representative from an authorized Apple reseller (AAR) in Vietnam.
Currently, according to Di Dong Viet, one of the authorized AARs (Apple Authorized Dealers), the price of an iPhone Xs Max starts from 7.5 million VND depending on the condition of the device, with a lifetime battery warranty. This model is 5 years old but still meets most of the needs of average users. This device was also highly rated for its design and camera quality. If participating in the trade-in program, users only have to pay an additional 6.99 million VND.
A higher-end model is the used iPhone 11 Pro Max, priced at approximately 10.99 million VND, with a 7-day free trial. This model boasts the Apple A13 Bionic chip (7nm process), which is still powerful enough for current tasks. It features a 6.5-inch screen and a triple-sensor camera system with customizable panoramic and macro photography capabilities.
The iPhone 12 Pro, launched in 2020, will certainly receive Apple's operating system updates for another 2-3 years. It features the A14 Bionic chip with several camera improvements over the iPhone 11 Pro, and marks the return of Apple's square-edged design to smartphones. The estimated price for a used model after discounts from the seller is 11.79 million VND.
The biggest price drop among used phones is for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which is now over 1 million VND lower than in August. This high-end device from 2021 consistently ranked among the top-selling smartphones at many retailers while it was still being distributed, and quickly rose to the top of the list of best-selling used phones after Apple stopped production. Currently, it is priced at around 18 million VND.
