On July 1st, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reacted strongly to remarks by Israeli Defense Minister Katz, who declared that Iran's Supreme Leader had been placed on a target list.
"The terms of the Islamabad Memorandum were very clear and public. The US President committed to restraining Tel Aviv," Araghchi wrote on the X platform on July 1.
Araghchi warned that if Israel does not exercise restraint, "Iran will teach them a lesson." "Any threat to our people and leadership will be met with an immediate and strong response," Araghchi cautioned.
