On the afternoon of February 21, Jennie (member of the group BlackPink) officially released the music video for the song "ExtraL", the 4th single in the album "Ruby". Currently, the MV has reached more than 1.7 million views after 3 hours of posting on YouTube.

"ExtraL" was directed by Cole Bennett. The special thing about the MV is that Jennie collaborated with American singer and rapper Doechii.

At the 67th Grammy Awards, Doechii won the Golden Horn for Best Rap Album. The female rapper's music has become a hit due to its trendy, catchy style and many new musical colors.

"ExtraL" is a pure Hip-hop remix with a message of support for women. In the MV, Jennie wants to express: We - the ladies here, do not care about what others judge us, or force ourselves to become a version that pleases someone; we will wear, do, and go wherever we want.

The song's video features a variety of tones, painting a powerful picture of a world dominated by women.

Compared to previous products in the album "Ruby", "ExtraL" focuses more on the performance. Jennie continues to pursue a sexy image with the lingerie trend. In the MV, Jennie and Doechii appear in white blazers with red lingerie that is both sexy and powerful.

In particular, Jennie also exudes a bold, playful look when she has gold teeth, straight hair, bangs, along with bold rap verses and a catchy fast flow.

The artist's melody and choreography in "ExtraL" promise to create a fever in the coming days.

"Ruby" is Jennie's first solo studio album, scheduled to be released on March 7. Previously, Jennie released 3/15 songs on the album, including: "Mantra", "Zen" and "Love hangover" with the participation of Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino and Kali Uchis.

To promote the album, Jennie will hold independent concerts called "The Ruby Experience" in Los Angeles, New York, and Incheon, South Korea.

The first concert kicks off on March 6 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, then heads to Radio City Music Hall in New York City and Inspire Arena Seoul in South Korea later in March.

She also performed as a solo artist at the 2025 Coachella Music Festival. Jennie then reunited with BlackPink this summer through a concert at Goyang Stadium in Seoul, South Korea on July 5-6.

Previously, appearing as a guest in a video posted on YouTube channel "SsookSsook", Jennie shared her concerns about promoting the album as she prepares for her comeback.

"I spent a year preparing for this album and worked hard on the music. But the world has changed a lot. Nowadays, just releasing a song doesn't guarantee that people will listen to it.

There's so much content coming from everywhere. I want to do something that my fans will like, but I don't know exactly what it is. At my company, we have meetings every day to figure out solutions. Because there are so many younger people in the industry now, I find it hard to keep up with their trends," the singer confided.
