These are not only memorable moments for the new recruits but also a connecting bridge, helping them quickly integrate into the military environment and internalize the spirit of "The unit is home, comrades are brothers."

At Battalion 1, Regiment 82 ( Division 335 ) , Sergeant Lo Van Hiep has a particularly difficult situation. His father passed away early, and his mother raised three brothers alone. In the early days of his military service, Hiep was withdrawn and rarely interacted with others. Thanks to encouragement from officers and comrades, Hiep bravely shared about his family circumstances and his dreams. Lo Van Hiep confided: "When I first joined the army, I was very shy and rarely talked to people. Thanks to the 'Comradeship Program,' I became more confident and made many friends. The commanding officers and comrades also gave me words of encouragement and support, making me feel warm and giving me more motivation to overcome difficulties."

Soldiers of Battalion 8, Regiment 98 (Division 316) rejoice on the night of their comrade's birthday, February 2025.

During the program, the soldiers participated in many meaningful activities such as unit introductions, cultural exchanges, and group games. In particular, the 'Good Study, Strict Training' activity provided an opportunity for soldiers to get to know each other, share their thoughts and feelings, and build close friendships to progress together."

At Battalion 8, Regiment 98 (Division 316), the "Comradeship Building" program, combined with "Comrade's Birthday Celebration," brought about touching moments. Many soldiers celebrated their birthdays for the first time, receiving small gifts, blowing out candles, and cutting the cake together.

Sergeant Nong Thanh Tung, Squad 7, Platoon 12, Company 8, emotionally shared: "This is the first time in my life I've had a birthday celebration. Initially, I felt a little shy, but then I was truly touched by the care and attention from the unit's officers and comrades."

For Sergeant Major Phan Xuan Phuc, Squad 6, Platoon 5, Company 8, the joint birthday celebration at the unit brought a completely new experience. Phan Xuan Phuc said: "Previously, on my birthday, I usually just stayed home with my family, having a simple meal. But today I had a truly memorable birthday with my new comrades. This will be a beautiful memory, a motivation for me to try even harder during my time in the military."

Captain Hoang Anh The, Political Officer of Battalion 8, said: "The 'Comradeship Building' and 'Comrade's Birthday Celebration' programs are not only recreational activities but also an important part of building a united and close-knit military environment. Through these activities, the soldiers will feel the sacredness of camaraderie and see the unit as a second family. This will create motivation for the soldiers to overcome difficulties and successfully complete their tasks."
