- On the morning of March 11th (the 23rd day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Horse), the People's Committee of Tam Thanh Ward organized the opening ceremony of the King Le Temple Festival 2026 . The festival attracts a large number of local people and tourists from all over to offer incense and participate in traditional cultural activities at the beginning of spring.

The King Le Temple is a provincial-level historical and cultural relic, a place of worship for King Le Thai To (Le Loi) - a national liberation hero who led the revolution. Lam Son Uprising Drive out the Ming army and regain independence for the country.
According to local legends and historical documents, after defeating the Ming army at Chi Lang Pass, the temple was the place where Le Loi issued edicts to his officials, soldiers, and generals before ascending to the throne as Emperor.
To commemorate the contributions of the founding king of the Le Dynasty, the local people erected a temple, creating a cultural and spiritual site of special significance for both locals and tourists. The King Le Temple Festival is held annually on the 23rd day of the first lunar month.

At the opening ceremony, delegates, local people, and tourists together reviewed the historical and cultural traditions of the King Le Temple. This was followed by traditional rituals: the drumming to officially open the festival; and the offering of incense to commemorate the contributions of King Le Thai To and other ancestors who served the country.

Along with the solemn ceremony, the unique cultural performances, rich in national identity, performed by teachers and students from schools and members of folk singing and string instrument clubs in the area, attracted enthusiastic applause from the people and tourists, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the local folk cultural values.

The King Le Temple Festival is an annual event that not only meets the cultural and religious needs of the people but also contributes to educating the younger generation about historical traditions and patriotism; at the same time, it promotes the image of the land and people of Lang Son to tourists from near and far.
