On September 21st, the Center for Scientific and Technological Information and Statistics (CESTI) organized the Technology and Equipment Market (Techmart 2024) event, showcasing green technologies, renewable energy, and environmental treatment solutions to support industrial digital transformation in Ho Chi Minh City. The aim was to promote the development of the science and technology market and facilitate the application of new technologies in production.
This event is part of the "Second Ho Chi Minh City Green Growth Product and Service Exhibition Space 2024 (GRECO 2024)" series, held from September 21st to 25th on Nguyen Hue Street (District 1). The series focuses on introducing technologies and equipment that contribute to promoting green industrial transformation in Ho Chi Minh City.
This year's Techmart features over 100 technologies from 50 domestic businesses, schools, and research institutes, showcasing and promoting new technologies and boosting trade. Many of these are modern automation solutions that use less energy, reduce waste, and minimize environmental pollution, such as: green technologies (digital transformation, automation, software, robotics, etc.); renewable energy (solar energy, wind power, energy storage systems, management software, carbon credits, etc.); and environmental treatment technologies and equipment (monitoring, recycling, material recycling, etc.).
Besides the exhibition booths, Techmart 2024 also organized 13 specialized seminars introducing solutions such as: Smartlook smart security integrating AI technology for factories/businesses, CNC robots for prototyping and mold making integrated with IoT sensors, bio-coating production processes, wastewater treatment technology using AAO, floating solar power technology, etc.
Simultaneously at the event, experts from research institutes and universities will provide free consultations and answer questions related to existing and new technologies in Vietnam, and are ready to cooperate and advise on technology transfer for businesses and individuals in need.
According to the organizers, they hope the event will be an opportunity to connect organizations and businesses to contribute to building a green production ecosystem, applying a circular economy model through the efficient and economical exploitation and use of natural resources and energy based on science and technology, digital technology application, and digital transformation.
