Accordingly, the main activity of the event is the lacquer painting exhibition called “Giua: Phong sac”, displaying 30 works by Dragon Sigma students. Each painting revolves around a different story, but they all have one thing in common: Originality.
Unlike other lacquer exhibitions, the authors of the works at the exhibition are all beginners, so the works are very natural and full of emotion - something that professionals sometimes lose through the development process and long-term practical experience.

In addition, the exhibition also displays lacquer applications and lacquer art toys called KEMTA. From there, the exhibition conveys the message "Lacquer is not old and anyone can start with lacquer painting".
According to artist Pham Khac Thang, inspired by the grinding technique in lacquer, “Giua” aims at the spirit of constantly honing oneself. The exhibition title also summarizes the content of the exhibition - it is a cross-section revolving around the expressive style and thinking tone of a range of young people towards lacquer, and is also a wordplay implying “launch”, bringing hope for forward movement.
Exhibition participants are invited to interact with lacquer in many different ways: observing the display of paintings by non-professionals, hearing about lacquer materials and techniques, and directly experiencing those techniques.
The exhibition runs until March 10.
