Opening of music composition camp

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, at the Da Nang Composer House, the Vietnam Musicians Association opened a music composition camp. Attending the event was Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi.

The composition camp has 16 musicians from all over the country. The musicians will go on field trips to find musical materials in Da Nang city and interact with other musicians in Da Nang city. The composition camp aims to orient the musicians to compose songs about historical traditions and the country in the new era.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations awarded a certificate of merit to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee, for her outstanding achievements in directing and organizing cultural, literary and artistic activities on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of musician Phan Huynh Dieu (1924-2024).

The Vietnam Musicians Association awarded certificates of merit to two groups including Da Nang Radio and Television Station (formerly Da Nang Newspaper and Radio and Television) and the Department of Cultural Management (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the city) and seven individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Vietnam Musicians Association in 2024 for implementing a series of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of musician Phan Huynh Dieu.
