Opening of the "Dak Lak" Exhibition

On the morning of March 7th, at the Dak Lak Museum, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province held the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Dak Lak - 50 Years of Construction and Development".

Attending the opening ceremony were former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Minh Tan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha; Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Phu Hung, along with representatives of leaders from relevant departments and agencies.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha delivered a speech at the ceremony.

The exhibition "Dak Lak - 50 Years of Construction and Development" will take place from March 7th to April 15th, 2025, displaying more than 150 documents, artifacts, and images under 3 themes: Theme 1: The Victory of Buon Ma Thuot - An Epic of the Central Highlands, introducing approximately 50 images and documents about the Victory of Buon Ma Thuot (March 10th, 1975).

Topic 2: Dak Lak - 50 Years of Construction and Development, includes 50 images and articles introducing the unique cultural features and lives of the ethnic communities living in Dak Lak, and the outstanding achievements in the province's construction and development process after the country's reunification.

Topic 3: News and Art Photography, showcasing 50 images of the land and people of Dak Lak during the period of industrialization and modernization.

The delegates cut the ribbon to officially open the exhibition.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha affirmed that Dak Lak is a land with a rich tradition, culture, and history, and holds a strategically important position in terms of national defense and security for the Central Highlands in particular and the whole country in general. Over 50 years of construction and development, facing many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, government, military, and people of Dak Lak province have continuously strived and been determined to achieve socio -economic goals, building and developing Dak Lak from a desolate and impoverished land into one of the relatively developed provinces in the Central Highlands and the whole country.

The exhibition "Dak Lak - 50 Years of Construction and Development" is a meaningful and practical activity within the series of events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Victory of Buon Ma Thuot and the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025), and the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025.

The exhibition is an opportunity for people and tourists to look back at the glorious historical traditions of the army and people of Dak Lak province in the resistance war against the US to save the country; to deeply understand the great historical significance of the Buon Ma Thuot Victory on March 10, 1975, affirming the wise leadership of our Party in the cause of national liberation, national reunification and building a socialist Vietnam.

Delegates and numerous visitors toured the exhibition.

At the same time, the Exhibition aims to express profound gratitude to the generations of revolutionary soldiers who sacrificed their lives and blood for national independence; contribute to educating revolutionary traditions, especially for the younger generation; awaken national pride, encourage and motivate people of all ethnic groups to promote the spirit of unity and aspiration to rise up in the new era of the nation, striving to successfully fulfill political tasks and economic, cultural, and social goals, building Dak Lak province into an increasingly prosperous, civilized, and distinctive place.
