On June 22nd, in Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Bien Truong and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Viet Ha introduced the publication " How to Speak in a Way That Touches People's Hearts" (Saigon Books and The Gioi Publishing House). The program was moderated by Dr. Pham Thi Thuy, Sociologist and Master of Psychotherapy.

In a rapidly changing society, especially with social media and short-form content significantly impacting daily life, words are sometimes disregarded and delivered hastily and superficially, potentially leading to unforeseen consequences. Every word can become a "boomerang"—thrown in an elliptical trajectory before returning to its starting point.
That is why Dr. Bien Truong and Associate Professor-Dr. Nguyen Thi Viet Ha collaborated to write the book "How to Speak in a Way That Touches People's Hearts ," with the message: choosing kindness in every word is choosing safety for yourself and the relationships you cherish.
The book comprises 16 chapters, written in a gentle, approachable yet profound style, guiding readers from everyday examples to core communication concepts, from scientific theory to deeply humanistic personal experiences. Importantly, it goes beyond simply "what to say," delving into "what to think before speaking," "how to speak in a way that makes others want to listen," and even "what to do when you've said something wrong."

According to the two authors, it's never too early or too late to improve your communication skills. Communication takes place every day, even every minute, as long as we live in this world. Communication is not just about transmitting information, but also about strengthening connections and understanding between people. The communication process will not be effective without a proper understanding of its fundamental nature and techniques.
