On the morning of June 25, Saigon - Gia Lai International Eye Hospital Joint Stock Company opened and put into operation Kon Tum Eye Hospital.

Kon Tum Eye Hospital project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in April 4. After more than a year of construction and completion of necessary procedures, on June 2022, 1, the hospital was licensed to operate by the Ministry of Health.
Kon Tum Eye Hospital has a total construction area of 1.600m2, scale of 10 beds with a total investment capital of phase 1 of over 55 billion VND. The hospital is invested with modern and synchronous eye medical equipment such as eye surgery machine system, keratoscope map, eye ultrasound ... with a team of well-trained and professional medical doctors, nurses, technicians; ensure to meet the requirements of examination and treatment of eye diseases for the people.
The hospital provides a full range of specialized examination and treatment services for eye diseases, refractive errors nearsightedness - farsightedness - astigmatism, eye diseases in the elderly... with the motto of being patient-centered, putting medical quality and service first.
Kon Tum Eye Hospital is the first specialized eye hospital built in the province; Thereby, creating conditions for people in our province in particular and the Central Highlands in general, to have more options and more convenient access to professional eye disease treatment services.

On the opening day, Kon Tum Eye Hospital organized a free medical examination for all patients and a talk show about eye diseases in the elderly. In 2023 and 2024, the Hospital will develop a program of 100% free eye surgery for people in difficult circumstances, ethnic minorities, disadvantaged children with eye defects in the whole province.
