The festival also aims to discover and honor folk artisans, collect and preserve traditional recipes and cooking methods, safeguard and promote the culinary treasures not only of the Vietnamese people but also of ethnic groups across the country, contributing to the development of the capital's tourism industry.
This year, the festival features approximately 100 participating units, including over 20 food stalls and numerous photo-taking spaces for visitors. Many characteristic Hanoi culinary products are showcased at the festival, such as: Me Tri sticky rice flakes, Thanh Tri rice rolls, Pho bread, Huong Mai rolled pho, Duong Lam peanut candy, sweet soup, Hanoi draft beer, spring rolls, lotus jam, and savory cakes...
During the opening ceremony, locals and tourists enjoyed elaborate artistic performances, 3D mapping technology, and contemporary dragon dance...
