Khuong Nguyen is currently a final-year student majoring in English Pedagogy, and is well-known for his many completely free educational projects. Among them is the website Pinny Teaching, which provides free English teaching materials and was built and developed when Khuong was a third-year student.
Pinny Teaching is a collection of games, lessons, and flashcards created and designed entirely in English by Khuong Nguyen, suitable for various age groups, and available for free download and use by teachers worldwide as teaching materials. The website launched in October 2024 and has since been used by over 12,000 people globally, primarily in countries such as the USA, Sweden, Ireland, the Philippines, and Canada.
Following up on the free website project, in September 2025, Khuong Nguyen and two close friends founded the "EchoEd - Where Knowledge Echoes" project, providing free English lessons to children at the Da Nang Street Children Protection Center, aiming to put their knowledge and educational methods into practice.
At House 4 of the center – where dozens of orphaned and disadvantaged children live – Khuong Nguyen's group divides the children into three classes according to age. Regularly, on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings, the small classes resound with the sounds of lessons, laughter, and conversation between the teacher and the children.

To make each lesson fun, teacher Khuong Nguyen designs classes with word-matching games, quizzes with prizes, and learning through songs. For the 8th and 9th grade students, the teachers focus on knowledge and exercises to prepare them for the 10th grade entrance exam.
"English is an important language, but the children here don't have the opportunity to attend extra classes. I wish for nothing more than to help these young children improve their English skills. Seeing the students' test scores improve day by day is the greatest and happiest gift for me and my classmates," Khuong Nguyen expressed.
In addition to his free educational projects, Khuong Nguyen has also made a strong impression with his academic achievements, research, and participation in social activities. Khuong Nguyen has an IELTS score of 8.5 in English, a TOPIK level 4 in Korean, and has received a scholarship from the University of Foreign Languages for six consecutive semesters.
In particular, Khuong Nguyen has won a series of major awards such as: the encouragement prize in the 2024 Ministry-level Student Scientific Research Competition, the second prize in the 2024 City-level Student Scientific Research Competition, and has had many research topics published at international conferences.
In addition, Khuong Nguyen is one of three students representing the city at the International Youth Camp in Daegu (South Korea) in 2025. She also works as an interpreter and liaison for many international events held in Da Nang, leaving a positive impression on international friends.
Recently, Khuong Nguyen applied for Master's programs at five prestigious universities worldwide and was accepted into four out of five, with the result for Oxford University still pending. Driven by her passion for exploring and learning about languages, she decided to choose Cambridge University as her first choice, becoming the first student from Da Nang to be accepted into a Master's program in Linguistics and Language Sciences.
Before graduating from the University of Foreign Languages (Da Nang University) and going abroad for further studies, Khuong Nguyen continued to implement another free educational project: English classes - TOEIC Reading. The classes aim to help students improve their reading skills, reinforce core grammar, academic vocabulary, and TOEIC test-taking strategies. To date, Khuong Nguyen has received registrations from 100 students in Da Nang and many other provinces and cities nationwide.
To ensure the class is effective, the girl divided it into two classes, each with about 50 students, studying online on weekday evenings, scheduled to start on March 23, 2026. A special feature of the class is that it's 100% free, but students are required to pay 200,000 VND per person to encourage responsibility and commitment to learning. This amount will be refunded after students complete the course as per regulations.
“I am focusing on developing a curriculum to apply to the course with the hope of helping students confidently achieve their TOEIC goals and improve their academic thinking. This is a project I am very passionate about, a milestone before I leave for my studies abroad,” Khuong Nguyen shared.
