NDO - Kaohsiung City is located in the southern harbor bay of Taiwan (China). It is Taiwan's second largest city with many attractions and experiences that appeal to tourists from Vietnam and around the world .
Recently, following the success of the Kaohsiung City Tourism Promotion Festival held in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of October 2024, which attracted more than 60 participating businesses, the Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau is continuing to cooperate with Vietnam Airlines and Vietravel (Vietnam National Airlines and Transportation Marketing Joint Stock Company) to promote and explore new tour packages for both Vietnamese and Taiwanese (China) tourists.
Recently, Vietnam established direct flights to Kaohsiung City. Many airlines, including Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air, and Tigerair Taiwan, now operate direct flights from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang to Kaohsiung and vice versa. With fares starting from 4 million VND and a flight time of approximately 2.5-4 hours, travelers can now reach this city and explore its attractive destinations.

Recent meetings have provided opportunities for both sides to share experiences and ideas, aiming to develop diverse tourism products to meet the increasingly high demands of tourists. “We highly value cooperation and development with Vietnam, including you. We hope that in the future, Kaohsiung will be able to welcome even more tourists to explore and experience our culture,” Ms. Cao Min-lin emphasized.
