Accordingly, agencies, units, and localities should closely monitor weather developments, promptly inform and warn people; organize serious duty shifts, and have forces and resources ready to handle emerging situations, minimizing damage caused by natural disasters.
Local authorities in the province are reviewing areas at high risk of landslides, flash floods, and flooding; proactively preparing evacuation plans for residents when necessary; and ensuring sufficient manpower, supplies, and equipment according to the "four on-the-spot" principle, guaranteeing timely and effective response and recovery from natural disasters.
At the same time, units and localities, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, are strengthening propaganda and promptly updating information on natural disaster forecasts and warnings; guiding people on skills to prevent and avoid heavy rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, flash floods and landslides, contributing to minimizing damage.
According to the Tuyen Quang Provincial Meteorological and Hydrological Station, from early morning on June 30th to early morning on July 1st, the province will continue to experience moderate to heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain and thunderstorms; the total rainfall will generally range from 70 to 200 mm, with some areas exceeding 300 mm. Heavy rain will be concentrated in the late afternoon, evening, night, and morning, posing a high risk of flash floods and landslides in hilly and mountainous areas with steep terrain; and flooding in low-lying areas and urban centers.

As of noon on June 30th, the floods had affected 30 houses; including one house in Bac Me commune that required emergency relocation; 25 houses were affected by landslides, mainly in Lam Binh, Dong Van , and Xin Man communes; and 8 irrigation canals in Lam Binh and Xin Man communes were damaged. Along the roads in Lung Cu, Bac Me, Tat Nga, Ngoc Long, Xin Man, and Yen Minh communes, there were 55 landslide locations causing localized traffic congestion with volumes reaching thousands of cubic meters, and many sections of embankment landslides completely buried the road surface, making it impassable for vehicles.
In addition, more than 60 hectares of rice, nearly 9.5 hectares of corn, and more than 9.5 hectares of vegetables were affected and flooded; the most severe damage occurred in Lam Binh commune, where more than 33 hectares of rice and nearly 9.5 hectares of vegetables were swept away, along with many buffaloes, cows, livestock, and poultry.
On the same day, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Meteorological and Hydrological Station also reported that a flood with an amplitude of 1-3 meters had appeared on the Gam River in Bac Me commune and was fluctuating at alarm level I.
Currently, local authorities in the province are urgently mobilizing on-site forces to assist people in overcoming the consequences, relocating property to safe places, and clearing debris from landslides to quickly restore traffic routes.
