The units also proposed to adjust regulations that are not suitable with reality such as regulations on mobilized reserves into the mining design; regulations on sanctioning administrative violations in the field of water and mineral resources in the Government's Decree No. 36/2020/ND-CP; the issue of refund of mining rights when organizations and individuals are unable to conduct mining due to force majeure; the problem of controlling the mining output by weighing stations or other methods to match the mineral type.
The Department of Minerals of Vietnam is studying these comments to develop a draft Decree amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Decree detailing the Mineral Law.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Quy Kien directed the Vietnam Minerals Department to urgently finalize the draft Decree based on the report on reviewing the above comments, carefully considering what needs to be continued. collected, what contents need to be kept should be clearly explained.
