In the face of this opportunity, more than ever, the country needs to awaken and maximize the potential of Vietnam's human resources; in which, the working class and the workforce are the pioneering force on the front lines of labor production, innovation, and socio-economic development.

Looking back at the glorious history of the nation, every achievement and every step forward is imbued with the sweat, effort, intellect, sacrifice, and dedication of generations of trade union members and workers. Under the leadership of the Party, the Vietnam Trade Union has always aimed at the development of the country, closely linked to the common revolutionary cause. Every emulation movement and every action program of the trade union is aimed at unleashing the potential, creativity, and spirit of dedication of the workers.

The past term has continued to be a vivid testament to that strength. Hundreds of thousands of initiatives have been applied in practice; millions of union members and workers enthusiastically participated in patriotic emulation movements; tens of thousands of exemplary workers diligently worked, researched, and innovated. Behind these impressive figures lies a sense of responsibility, love for the homeland, and a desire to contribute to making the country increasingly prosperous and beautiful.

The road ahead presents new and very high demands on the workers' movement and trade union activities. Therefore, the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union needs to carry with it great faith, expectations, and responsibility before the Party, the State, and the people. The Congress will not only define the goals, tasks, and breakthroughs for the new term, amend the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, and elect the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the 14th term, but also strongly inspire the pioneering spirit of the working class in labor production, scientific research, innovation, and digital transformation... So that each trade union member and each worker becomes a creative nucleus and an active contributor to the rapid and sustainable development of the country.

Looking forward to the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, cadres, union members, workers, and defense personnel throughout the armed forces will continue to uphold the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers; demonstrate self-reliance, self-strength, solidarity, and creativity; promote the Emulation Movement for Victory, the emulation of excellent and creative labor, and are determined to excellently fulfill all assigned tasks.

With the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese working class, and with the courage, intelligence, and aspirations of the workers, the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union will create new momentum for the workers' movement and trade union activities, contributing to building a strong, prosperous, civilized, and happy country.
