This is an opportunity for high school students nationwide to demonstrate their abilities, confidently express their opinions, and spread positive messages about life's issues. The competition officially launched on September 29th.

The competition, organized by IDP Vietnam and IELTS IDP, aims to create a beneficial platform, helping students become more confident and passionate about English, while also building a solid foundation for global integration.

The program provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, two of the most important skills for becoming future global citizens.

IDP Global Voices 2024, with the theme “ The Positive and Negative Impacts of the AI ​​Era ,” is a compelling and practical topic that helps high school students grasp technological trends while developing critical thinking about the impact of AI on life.

The competition is open to students in grades 10, 11, and 12 nationwide.

Registration is open from September 29, 2024 to October 27, 2024, with three rounds of competition.

Round 1: Online Test (October 30, 2024 - November 3, 2024)

Contestants will receive the multiple-choice test questions in English from the organizers via the email address they registered with and must complete it within the specified time.

BTC will designate the exam date, and the online quiz will be completed within 30 minutes.

Round 2: Video Creation (Completion time: November 5, 2024 - November 17, 2024)

Contestants are required to create and produce a short video, with a maximum duration of 3 minutes, after participating in the online information session.

Final Round: Online Presentation (January 12, 2025)

Each contestant will have 30 minutes to deliver an online speech in English (15 minutes presentation, 15 minutes Q&A) to an international judging panel consisting of representatives from the competition's sponsors.

Award Ceremony (January 19, 2025)

The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held on January 19, 2025.

All updates and test results will be sent directly to the email address that candidates use when registering for the program.

Scholarships and awards:

The total prize value of the competition amounts to 260 million VND, including:

• 1st Prize: Total prize value up to 80 million VND including a 2025 summer study abroad scholarship worth 64 million VND, an IELTS test scholarship at IDP, an IELTS preparation kit worth 6 million VND, and 10 million VND in cash.

• 2 Second Prizes: Each prize is worth 40 million VND, including a summer study abroad scholarship worth 30 million VND, an IELTS test scholarship at IDP worth 3 million VND, and 7 million VND in cash.

• 3 Third Prizes: Each prize is worth 16 million VND, including a summer study abroad scholarship worth 11 million VND, an IELTS test scholarship at IDP worth 2 million VND, and 3 million VND in cash.

• 10 Consolation Prizes: Each prize includes a scholarship for an IELTS test at IDP worth VND 1.6 million and an IELTS preparation kit worth VND 1.4 million.

• First prize for the school with the highest number of registered students: worth 10 million VND

• Second prize for the school with the highest number of registered students: worth 7 million VND.

Third prize for the school with the highest number of registered students: worth 5 million VND.
