According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, after the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, areas specializing in ornamental plant cultivation in the province, such as Vinh Thanh, Cho Lach, Hung Khanh Trung, Phuoc My Trung communes, etc., have begun the new production season for 2026.
Currently, farmers are buying rootstocks, hiring grafters, and diligently caring for approximately 4,450 hectares of ornamental plant gardens (including yellow apricot blossoms, pine trees, fir trees, kumquat trees, bougainvillea, etc.) to produce finished products for the market, especially before and during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Regarding flowers, after the Lunar New Year, there is no seasonal flower production in the province. However, in the communes of Vinh Thanh, Cho Lach, Nhon Phu, An Binh, Cai Nhum, Binh Phuoc, etc., farmers still maintain small-scale production of flowers such as petunias, periwinkle, money plant, pothos, trumpet vine, and gerbera daisies, to have flowers for year-round consumption.
