Smart tourism integrated with AI.
Aiming to build a smart tourism platform using artificial intelligence (AI) to connect businesses providing personalized and efficient tourism services for visitors to Khanh Hoa , EduX Global Institute Joint Stock Company (Bac Nha Trang Ward) and the Khanh Hoa Provincial Tourism Association have launched an innovative startup project, “eKhanhHoa - AI-Integrated Smart Tourism Platform”. Based on the integration of information technology, AI, and communication, the platform is expected to ensure timely interaction between management agencies, tourism businesses, and tourists, thereby creating the best value and services. This project successfully surpassed 32 other projects to win first prize in the “Khanh Hoa Innovation Startup Competition 2025”.

According to Mr. Huynh Le Phu Phong, General Director of EduX Global Institute Joint Stock Company and co-founder and CEO of the eKhanhHoa Project: “The eKhanhHoa platform allows businesses to share their information, and tourists can search for all the necessary information about tourism in Khanh Hoa, design their own itineraries to suit their personal preferences, and be supported by modern tools such as AI chatbots and digital maps... This is a newly emerging trend in the tourism sector, as more and more tourists demand private experiences and assistance from digital technology.”
Experience coral restoration on a digital platform.
With their project "REBIRTH - Commercializing the coral reef restoration service model in Khanh Hoa province," the team of chemical engineers led by Le Van Hoa (Bac Nha Trang ward) aims to create a sustainable form of tourism that combines experience, education, and marine environmental conservation. This project won second prize in the competition.

According to engineer Le Van Hoa, head of the REBIRTH team, the idea for the project stemmed from the fact that coral reefs in Vietnam in general, and Khanh Hoa in particular, are severely degraded due to climate change and overexploitation, while tourist demand is increasingly leaning towards green tourism and meaningful experiences. Currently, there are not many "renewable tourism" services in Vietnam, so this is an opportunity to pioneer in exploiting this potential. “The project is designed to provide tourists not only with a relaxing ocean exploration experience but also the opportunity to become part of a marine resource conservation journey. Along with coral reef diving experiences, the project designs service packages that allow tourists to directly participate in coral restoration using the ReefStar frame. These tourist experiences are combined with a digital platform called CRS (Coral Restoration Service), which acts as a communication and customer connection portal, transforming a typical beach vacation into a long-term commitment to the marine environment,” shared engineer Le Van Hoa.

Making technological knowledge accessible to the community.
Besides the two projects mentioned above, the "Khanh Hoa Innovation Startup Competition 2025" also features projects that present innovative ideas and promising new business models. Among them, the project "Simzy - A multi-platform online learning application on programming, AI, and information technology integrating Gamification and AI Tutor," represented by author Vo Nguyen Thuy Ngan (Nha Trang ward), aims to "democratize" technological knowledge, bringing AI and programming closer to the community, especially students, workers, and those in areas with limited access to training centers. The project “EcoNations - A crowdfunding platform in the agricultural and forestry sector, promoting sustainable agricultural and forestry development” by Econations Joint Stock Company (Nam Ninh Hoa commune) integrates AI and IoT (Internet of Things) to collect crop data, support farming decisions, assess quality in real time, and provide a dashboard for farms and investors, aiming for sustainable agricultural development and increased agricultural product value. Both projects were awarded third prize by the competition organizers.

Each project participating in the "Khanh Hoa Innovation Startup Competition 2025" is not only the dedication of the authors, organizations, and businesses, but also a testament to the strong spread of the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in general, and innovation and entrepreneurship associated with digital transformation in particular, among the youth and young business community of Khanh Hoa province. This contributes to creating an important impetus for promoting local socio-economic development.
