On June 3rd, according to information from the People's Committee of Ea Rốk commune, Dak Lak province, local authorities, in coordination with the Dak Lak Provincial Center for Elephant Conservation, Animal Rescue and Forest Management and Protection, and the Regional Defense Command 3 in Ea Súp, successfully subdued a buffalo that had attacked local residents.
Earlier, on June 2nd, a female buffalo belonging to a local resident in Ea Rốk commune exhibited unusual behavior and, in a state of panic, attacked and injured four people, who had to be hospitalized for treatment. The incident has disrupted the lives of local residents.

Upon receiving the information, authorities approached the scene and devised plans to handle the buffalo safely. Subsequently, the Dak Lak Provincial Center for Elephant Conservation, Animal Rescue, and Forest Management used a specialized tranquilizer gun to successfully subdue the buffalo and return it to its owner.
According to the leader of Ea Rốk commune, the cause of the buffalo's unusual behavior is being investigated by the authorities. "Fortunately, the victims only suffered minor injuries. Of the four people hospitalized, three have been discharged, and the remaining one is expected to be discharged this afternoon," the Ea Rốk commune leader reported.
